Renée Celeste Flanders lives and works in Saint Louis, Missouri. A multidisciplinary artist, her practice includes both figurative and abstract drawings, paintings, and assemblages made from ordinary or discarded materials. Her work reflects the influences of Post-Minimalism, Arte Povera, and the theories of Conceptual Art.

After completing graduate studies in painting, Flanders spent many years as an interior designer, approaching each project as a three-dimensional, living work of art. She became well known as a colorist and as a creator of unique, evocative interiors.

Across all her creative endeavors, Flanders weaves a complex layering of content, context, and meaning—transcending subject matter to invite reflection, transformation, and universal healing.
